Amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran, the Embassy of India in Tel Aviv and Tehran has issued advisories for Indian nationals in Israel and Iran, urging them to remain vigilant and strictly follow safety protocols.

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has advised all Indian nationals and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) in the city to evacuate and move to safer locations outside the capital, using their own resources if possible.

“All Indian nationals and PIOs who can move out of Tehran using their own resources, are advised to move to a safe location outside the City,” the Embassy said in a post on X.

In a follow-up post, the Indian Embassy in Tehran urged those who have not yet contacted them to do so urgently: “All Indian Nationals who are in Tehran and not in touch with the Embassy are requested to contact the Embassy of India in Tehran immediately and provide their Location and Contact numbers.”

Meanwhile, the Embassy of India in Tel Aviv has issued an updated advisory for Indian nationals in Israel, urging them to remain vigilant and strictly follow safety protocols amid the ongoing national emergency in the country.

In its statement, the Embassy confirmed it is in close contact with the Indian community across Israel, including caregivers, workers, students, businesspersons, and tourist groups. “All necessary measures are being taken to ensure their safety and well-being,” the advisory stated.

The advisory was issued against the backdrop of continued hostilities between Israel and Iran, who have been exchanging airstrikes and missile attacks for the fifth consecutive day.

The escalating conflict has sparked global concern, with former US President Donald Trump calling for the “immediately evacuated” of Tehran in a separate statement.
