India Sets 3 Guinness World Records For Women’s Health Under ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’

India has achieved global recognition with three Guinness World Records under its nationwide “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” (SNSPA), a women-led health and nutrition campaign, reported The Times Of India.

The Union Health Ministry announced the feat, describing it as a landmark in women’s health empowerment.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda hailed the achievement, calling it “a record-breaking milestone for women’s health.” He said the accomplishment reflects India’s progress toward a Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar, and Viksit Bharat.

According to the ministry, three Guinness World Records were awarded for healthcare achievements.

The first was for registering 3.21 crore (32,149,711) people on a healthcare platform within a month.

The other two were for 9.94 lakh (994,349) online breast cancer screening sign-ups and 1.25 lakh (125,406) vital signs screening registrations at the state level in one week.

The campaign, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from 17 September to 2 October 2025, coincided with Poshan Maah and aimed to strengthen healthcare and nutrition for women, adolescent girls, and children.

Highlighting the campaign’s scale, Nadda said, “Held from 17 September to 2 October 2025 in conjunction with Poshan Maah, the campaign focused on improving health and nutrition among women, adolescent girls, and children, ensuring early detection, essential healthcare access, and empowering families for a healthier Bharat. Over 19.7 lakh health camps were organised under this campaign with a footfall of more than 11 crore people across all districts.”

He added that the achievement, inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Ji and the spirit of Seva and Bharat First, marked a proud stride towards a Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar & Viksit Bharat.
