Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, attended the ground-breaking ceremony in Lucknow for projects worth over Rs 10 lakh crore, as per a report by The Economic Times.
During the event, he also visited the Noida International Film City stall to review the progress of the upcoming project.
The film city, awarded to Bayview Projects, is set to be developed over 1,000 acres in Sector 21 of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, near Noida.
Being developed in a public-private partnership, the film city will feature seven zones, including production and studio space, a film university, factories, an administrative hub, and entertainment areas.
Ashish Bhutani, CEO of Bhutani Infra, expressed optimism about the project's potential to stimulate various businesses and generate employment.
Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated 14,000 projects across Uttar Pradesh, encompassing sectors such as manufacturing, renewable energy, food processing, housing, hospitality, and education.
The event, part of the fourth ground-breaking ceremony for investment proposals received during the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit, was attended by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and numerous industrialists and representatives of global and Indian companies.
