Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress for mocking the delay in Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya and not coming to the 'pran pratishtha' even after being invited.

"Not just Ram, they even didn't leave our Shyam... Congress' shehzada even mocked my Dwarka visit. SP dynasts call themselves yaduvanshi but are worshipping those who mock Lord Krishna," Modi said.

He claimed that Congress wants to give OBC reservation to their special vote bank. "SP shehzada is silent on Congress' such intentions. He fully endorses this policy," Modi added while speaking at Aonla.

This comes a day after Karnataka Congress government's decision to categorise the entire Muslim community as a backward caste for reservation purposes in the state came to light.

The PM on Thursday (26 April) reiterated, "Congress ki loot, zindagi ke saath bhi aur zindagi ke baad bhi" slogan and alleged that Congress wants to survey your property and get an X-ray of your gold and vehicles.

"Congress and SP have decided to copy foreign's inheritance tax. But foreigners don't even know what is Mangalsutra. Will our mothers and sisters allow them to snatch Mangalsutra?" Modi questioned.

He alleged that Congress would also get surveys of offices done and if two members of a family are employed, they will give one job to whom they consider to have the first claim on the country's resources.

"I need 400 seats to protect you, to protect your rights. I give a guarantee to the OBC community, Kurmi, Yadav, Maurya, Kushwaha, Jat, Gujjar, Rajbhar and Teli communities to protect reservation," Modi added.
