Party Of The Family, By The Family, For The Family: PM Modi Calls Out Family-Driven Parties Directly In I-Day Speech

In his speech at Red Fort on the occasion of the country's 76th Independence Day Celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the opportunity to highlight and call-out family-driven political parties in India.

Stressing on how nepotism and appeasement-driven politics are nip the ambitions of the people of the country, PM Modi said that certain political parties solely function with the objective of fulfilling the advancement of a family.

Targeting dynasty politics, PM Modi emphasised the bane of such political parties that function as 'Party Of The Family, By The Family, Of The Family'.

He went on to highlight how such family-driven parties and politics are the enemies of a merit-based system, and the ambitions of millions of common people not part of such families or dynasties.

"Corruption, Nepotism, and Appeasement oppress the ambitions of Indians", PM Modi said.
