BJP's Barrackpore candidate Arjun Singh alleged that Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers are not letting people come out of their houses to cast their votes, especially the women voters.

Followed by this, an argument erupted between Arjun Singh and a TMC worker. In a statement given to press, Singh said that bikers are stopping women voters and hitting them.

"The police are not doing anything. There is a criminal named Boney who is scaring people and not allowing them to come out of their homes. People are being stopped from voting," Singh said.

The BJP candidate said that he has already informed the State Election Commission about this.

Another argument erupted in Hooghly where BJP MP and candidate Locket Chatterjee alleged that a person posing as s polling agent is actually a TMC agent. She later took that person out of the polling station.
