The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in collaboration with the Israel Security Agency (ISA), conducted joint operations in Gaza’s Jabaliya and Beit Lahia areas, resulting in the elimination of six Hamas terrorists directly involved in the 7 October massacre in Israel.
The targeted individuals included Mohammed Abd al-Hamid Salah, Zaher Abd Rabbo Mohammed Shahab, Ali Magad Ali Ramadan, and Mohammed Hamouda. These operations also led to the elimination of Rasem Judeh, a Hamas company commander in Jabaliya, who played a direct role in the attack.
In total, 14 terrorists were killed during the operation, including six who had infiltrated Israeli territory on 7 October. The IDF emphasised their commitment to pursuing all those responsible for the brutal assault. "The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against every terrorist who participated in the brutal October 7 Massacre," the IDF stated.
Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani, IDF International Spokesperson, shared additional details on the operations. He disclosed that approximately 240 terrorists from Hamas and Islamic Jihad were apprehended for further investigation, with around 20 others killed during the operation.
"During our precise operations in the area, approximately 20 terrorists were eliminated, and powerful explosive devices planted by the terrorists were eliminated in close-quarter combat," Shoshani revealed in a post on social media.
Of those apprehended, 15 were identified as having infiltrated Israel on 7 October and participated directly in the massacre.
The operations, which aim to dismantle Hamas’ terror network, remain ongoing. "More details to follow," Shoshani concluded.
