Wipro Limited has unveiled plans to expand its campus in Gopanapally, situated in the Financial District of Hyderabad, paving the way for the creation of 5,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The announcement was made during the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference 2025 in Davos, Switzerland, after Wipro's Executive Chairman Rishad Premji held discussions with Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu.

The upcoming IT centre, scheduled for completion within the next two to three years, marks a significant milestone in Telangana's mission to attract global technology leaders.

Chief Minister Reddy welcomed the move, emphasising the government's commitment to providing full support to corporations driving technological innovation and employment in the region.

Premji said that they are excited to partner with Telangana to promote new innovations and create new opportunities

Minister Sridhar Babu encouraged Wipro to collaborate with the state’s various skill development initiatives, including the Young India Skills University.

The initiative aligns with Telangana’s broader vision of fostering skill enhancement and driving inclusive growth through partnerships with industry leaders.
