A man who was implicated in the outbreak of violence in Haryana's Nuh has been apprehended by the police in the district after a confrontation. The individual sustained an injury to his leg as a result of being shot by the police.
This incident marks the third encounter between the police and the suspects connected to the Nuh violence within a span of two weeks.
The arrested individual, known as Osama, also referred to as Pehelwan, was en route from Ferozepur Namak village in Nuh to Aali Meo when the encounter took place. He was sought after for his alleged involvement in arson in Nalhar.
During the encounter, Osama was wounded in the leg and subsequently taken into custody in the vicinity of Ujina drain. He was later admitted to Nalhar Medical Hospital for treatment.
As a part of the operation, a domestically crafted pistol, a single cartridge, and a motorcycle were seized from the possession of the accused.
Earlier on Monday, the Crime Branch of Nuh confronted the accused Aamir and arrested him after a face-off and firing.
