Nine Independent candidates are leading in Rajasthan assembly election results. Of these, five are Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rebels.

The BJP rebels who are leading are Chandrabhan Singh Chouhan from Chittorgarh, Ravindra Singh Bhati from Sheo, Yoonus Khan from Deedwana, Priyanka Chowdhary from Barmer and Jiva Ram Chaudhary from Sanchore.

Notable are Chittorgarh and Sanchore where BJP candidates are third behind rebels and Congress candidates. However, more notable is the number where these rebel BJP leaders cut the votes of the party's candidates.

At Jhunjhunu, rebel BJP leader Rajendra Singh Bhamboo got more votes than difference between BJP and Congress candidates, where the Congress candidate is leading. Similar is the case at Sikar, Sangaria, Beawar and Kotputli.
