Dear Reader

When Sheikh Hasina gets thrown out of power in Dhaka, a slew of reactions follow in India.

  • Far left voices shout down those of us speaking for protecting the minorities of Bangladesh.

  • International media outlets term the violence against Hindus as 'revenge' acts (Revenge for what? We haven't been told!)

  • Indian leftists journalists draw absurd parallels, dreaming of a 'coup' against the elected government in New Delhi.

Barely able to hide their glee at a pro-Indian government getting thrown out, these far left voices try to define and dictate the news narrative.

But outlets such as Swarajya stand in the way. We've registered our surprise and protest against the controlling of news narratives. We've recorded the suffering of hapless refugees trying to desperately come to India. We've called out the absurdity of Indian journalists wishing for an unconstitutional overthrow of the incumbent government.
