Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, who has been accused by industrialist Darshan Hiranandani of seeking various favours, including expensive luxury gifts from him, has launched an attack on Gautam Adani, the Chairperson of Adani Group, in her latest post on X.
In one of the posts, Moitra appears to suggest that the Adani Group chief had proposed a deal for her to "shut up for six months in return for peace". In the same posts, she also mentioned that she was not taking the second deal where "I am allowed to attack you but not the PM".
"Adani used to CASH TO NOT QUESTION. Now he is forced to create a fake CASH FOR QUESTIONS," the MP said.
In a new post, which appeared a few minute after the first one, Moitra says she had received a message regarding the "impending arrest".
"Also got message about impending CBI raid. I am busy with Durga Puja. I invite CBI to come home & count my pairs of shoes," she said, adding "But first please file FiR into ₹13,000 crore coal money Adani stole from Indians.
