The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting raids at 10 locations connected to minister Senthil Balaji. Karur, Tiruchirapalli and Coimbatore are some of the places in which raids are being conducted.
Balaji is currently lodged in Chennai's Puzhal prison after being arrested for his alleged role in the cash-for-jobs scam during his tenure as Transport minister.
The Principal Sessions Court yesterday (11 September) asked the ED to file its reply to Balaji's bail plea. The matter would be heard again on 15 September.
