Kashmir has been chosen as the host for the 71st edition of Miss World, as announced by Miss World CEO Julia Eric Morely during her visit to the region.

Morely expressed her happiness and emotions at witnessing such beauty and thanked the people of Kashmir for their kindness and assistance. The press conference for the 71st Miss World 2023 took place in India's Kashmir, as per a report by Hindustan Times.

Morely eagerly anticipates bringing representatives from 130 nations to the Valley, appreciating the natural beauty and the warmth of the locals. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the people of Kashmir.

The Miss World crew is expected to arrive in Kashmir in November, with the event scheduled to be held on 8 December, according to Morely. She extended her gratitude to the people of Kashmir and expressed her excitement about returning to the region.

“We look forward to seeing you in November. The show is on December 8. Thank you, Kashmir. You are wonderful people. God bless you and we are looking forward to coming back,” Morely said.
