The Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government has refused to implement the Ayushman Bharat healthcare schemed aimed at providing proper medical services to the poor, ANI has reported.
This announcement was made by Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain who then proceeded to lash out at the Modi government.
Jain demanded that the Modi government implement the scheme in a better manner. He demanded that the Modi government first implement the scheme in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana as 70 per cent of Delhi’s patents comprise of people from those states.
“Modi ji did nothing there. We will not differentiate between rich and poor. We will not allow this yojana as government hospitals and medical check-ups are for all”, Satyendra Jain was quoted as saying.
While data says otherwise, Satyendra Jain also accused the Modi government of only implementing the policy on paper.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
