While on one hand Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced that his government will not implement either the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) or the NRC in the state, a huge crowd of people took to the streets in the act’s support.
A video of the same was shared by BJP’s National Secretary Sunil Deodhar, who also launched an attack on the Congress CM.
This massive gathering is from Bhilwara, Rajasthan.

People of Bhilwara have given a clear message to the CM of Rajasthan, who vows not to implement #CAA & #NRC in his state that they are firmly with @narendramodi Ji & welcome #CAA2019 #CAAJanJagran pic.twitter.com/HxAeCNHaLO
In the video a whole stretch of a road can be seen covered by CAA supporters in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara.
It was earlier reported that over 25,000 persecuted Hindu refugees residing in camps in Jodhpur are eligible to get Indian citizenship thanks to CAA.
