Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has decided to organise Krishna Leela in Mathura on the lines of Ram Leela in Ayodhya.
The move is expected to attract a huge number of Lord Krishna devotees from India and around the world, and will also boost the tourism potential of the region.
BJP MLA from Mathura-Vrindavan Shrikant Sharma has thanked CM Yogi for the decision to organise Krishna Leela in Mathura.
Further, the Yogi government has also decided to conserve the houses of the artists and writers born in the Braj region in Mathura district and roads in the area will be named after them, reports Dainik Bhaskar.
The literature in Braj language will be translated to German, French and Russian languages in a bid to make it easily accessible to foreign devotees arriving in the region.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
