A drone has captured a spectacular footage of Indian Railways’ first trial run of a heavy haul goods train on the 194 km long Bhadan - Khurja section of the eastern dedicated freight corridor.
A video of the same was posted on twitter by Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCI) which is overseeing the project.

As per reports, the trial run involved a heavy haul train comprising of a whopping 103 wagons.
DFCCIL had completed the Bhadan - Khurja section in Uttar Pradesh back in November 2018. Following this completion various freight trials were carried out by the Indian Railways.
This freight corridor when complete in 2021 would link Delhi, Howrah, Chennai and Mumbai. It will require a total investment of over Rs 81,000 crore.
