In the video the solitary snow leopard can been briefly staring at the camera while he walks at the side of the road.
As per Nanda, the beautiful snow leopard boasts of green or grey eyes as opposed to the yellow eyes of other big cats. The leopard’s tail is almost as long as its body which is protected by 5 inches of fur to help it survive in harsh cold conditions.
Known as the ghosts of the mountain, the highly elusive snow leopard is very hard to spot. This makes it difficult to carry out an accurate census but estimates suggest that around 450-500 of them live in India.
