Andhra Pradesh has reported 43 Coronavirus (Covid-29) positive cases within 12 hours between 9 pm on Tuesday and 9 am on Wednesday (1 April).
ANI reported that all of them had returned from the Nizamuddin Banglewali Markaz congregation in Delhi. Local reports confirmed the Covid-19 cases from the districts.
In Kadapa, the detection of 15 persons with Coronavirus after returning from the Nizamudding Markaz congregation has resulted in some tension.
This takes the total number of Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh to 87 with about 60 of them being infected at the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Nizamuddin.
A hue and cry has been raised by mainstream media since 30 March over the Aalami Mashwara, an Islamic event staged by Tablighi Jamaat, at the Banglewali Markaz (Dargah) in Delhi’s Nizamuddin.
