Amid escalating hostilities between Israel and Iran, a significant development has emerged involving a targeted Israeli airstrike deep within Tehran. Among those reportedly killed is Major General Ali Shadmani, described as Iran’s most senior wartime commander and a close aide to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
As per a report by NDTV, a window of opportunity emerged unexpectedly, allowing Israeli forces to strike a facility where Iran’s top military leaders were gathered.
Earlier Israeli strikes killed Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces; General Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps; and General Gholam Ali Rashid, commander of the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters.
