The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has initiated bulldozer action against rape accused Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan.

A team from Ayodhya district administration and the police arrived with a bulldozer at the bakery of SP leader Moeed Khan, the main accused in the gang rape of a minor girl.

During the operation, the machine got stuck in the soil near a pond.

Despite this, part of the bakery's wall has been demolished, and another bulldozer has been called in to complete the demolition.

According to police, Moeed Khan had illegally built his bakery on pond land in Bhadarsa.

"The bakery was sealed after being found illegal, and demolition is underway. The accused's house will also be demolished," SDM Sohawal Ashok Kumar said, Times of India reported.

After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's intervention in the matter, assistant food commissioner Manikchand Singh raided Moeed Khan's bakery on Saturday.

During the raid, samples of food products were collected, and the bakery was sealed.

Assistant Commissioner Manikchand stated that the process to revoke the bakery's license has commenced.

The bakery was built on a large piece of land, with a part of it used for the bakery and a larger portion for crop cultivation.
