The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested two MBBS students and one of the masterminds of the NEET-UG paper breach on Saturday (20 July) in Patna, Hindustan Times reported.

The arrested students are identified as Kumar Manglam Bishnoi and Deepender Kumar, who were pursuing MBBS at Bharatpur Medical College. They are accused of acting as 'solvers.'

Their presence has been confirmed in Hazaribagh on the day of the NEET-UG exam on 5 May. Bishnoi was a second-year MBBS student, while Sharma was in the first year.

The paper, that these two solved, was stolen by Pankaj Kumar, a 2017-batch civil engineer from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. Kumar was arrested a few days ago.

The third arrestee is Shashikant Paswan and worked in tandem with Kumar and Rakesh Ranjan aka Rockey. Rockey was also arrested earlier and his remand has been extended by four days.

The three arrested individuals are said to be close to breach mastermind Sanjeev Mukhiya. On Friday, another MBB student, Surabhi Kumari was arrested for acting as a 'solver'.

Kumari is a first-year MBBS student at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi. She was questioned on Wednesday and Thursday before her arrest.

Yesterday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET-UG 2024 results for all the students, city and examination centre-wise on the Supreme Court's order.
