ChatGPT-Maker OpenAI Set To Launch 'Strawberry' AI Model With Advanced Mathematical, Reasoning Capabilities

OpenAI is said to be developing a new AI model 'Strawberry' that aims to enhance the mathematics and reasoning skills of its chatbot, ChatGPT.

This new AI model has reportedly been in development for several months, although the company has maintained a veil of secrecy around the project.

The information about the large language model (LLM) first surfaced in July.

OpenAI is reportedly utilising the Strawberry AI model to train this LLM, which the company considers the successor to GPT-4.

The new AI model from the ChatGPT maker will be launched soon, possibly in the coming few months.

However, there remains ambiguity about the exact method of introduction for this AI model.

According to a report by The Information, there are two possibilities for the model's launch — either it could be launched as a new chatbot or its capabilities could be integrated to the existing ChatGPT.
