Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag-off the Ahmedabad–Veraval Vande Bharat Express and other railway projects from Dahod on Monday (26 May) during his Gujarat visit.
According to a statement by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway,Vineet Abhishek, train number 26901 Sabarmati-Veraval Vande Bharat Express will commence from 27 May.
This train will depart from Sabarmati at 05.25 am and will reach Veraval at 12.25 pm, the same day and will run all days except Thursday.
Similarly, train number 26902 Veraval–Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express will commence from 27 May.
This train will depart from Veraval at 2.40 pm and will reach Sabarmati at 9.35 pm, the same day and will run all days except Thursday.
According to the Western Railway, the Ahmedabad (Sabarmati)–Veraval Vande Bharat Express will reduce travel time and offer a faster and more convenient journey for pilgrims and tourists visiting the Somnath temple.
En route, the train will halt at Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot and Junagadh stations in both directions. This train comprises eight coaches with AC chair car and Executive chair car coaches.
PM Modi will also flag off express train between Valsad and Dahod stations.
The train comprises of AC Chair Car, Second Class Sitting and General Second Class coaches.
Enroute, the train will halt at Bilimora, Navsari, Surat, Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Miyagam Karjan, Vadodara, Samlaya, Derol, Godhra, Piplod and Limkheda stations in both the directions.
