Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama killed a migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh in a shooting incident on Monday (30 October), according to the police. The area has been sealed off, NDTV reported.
The Kashmir Zone Police posted on , "Terrorists fired upon one laborer identified as Mukesh from UP in the Tumchi Nowpora area of Pulwama, who later succumbed to his injuries. Area cordoned off."
This marks the second terrorist attack in Pulwama within the past 24 hours. On Sunday, Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani was shot three times while playing cricket in the Eidgah area.
In response to these attacks, security forces have heightened vehicle and pedestrian inspections in Pulwama and other parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Mobile vehicle checkpoints have been established at key intersections in Srinagar and at the city's exit points.
