Introducing Swarajya’s ‘50 Ground Reports’ Project, And An Appeal From The CEO

Dear reader, Happy Holi.

As you may be aware, in the next two months, India will vote to elect its next parliament.

India is undergoing a churn with a healthy contestation of ideas. The old, mega establishment media is invested in a narrative that seeks to paint a picture of gloom and doom. But for most of us, the last five years have been the most transformative years of the Indian republic. A lot of missteps surely, but a lot of unprecedented programmes executed with speed and scale.

We at Swarajya are hoping to provide insightful analysis and in-depth ground reportage from places that the establishment media will certainly stay away from, but these are significant issues that need to be talked about and highlighted in the larger interest of the media discourse.

Swarajya, both through its digital and print platform, is planning to do 50 impactful stories over the next two months. Our young reporters, some of them are the best and brightest in the industry, will be travelling across the length and breadth of the country to bring in a unique perspective. We are calling it the 50 Ground Reports Project.
