CBSE Releases Class XII Board Exam Results; Hansika Shukla, Karishma Arora Top The Exams Scoring 499 out of 500 marks

The Class XII results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was released today (2 May 2019) for all regions, reports Times of India.
The exams were conducted between February and April 2019 in which over 13 lakh students participated.
The results can be accessed and downloaded by visiting the official website - cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.examresults.net and results.gov.in.
The declaration of the results came within 28 days of the last date of the examination. The Class 12 examination began on February 16, earlier than previous years. The results, which is usually announced by the third week of May, is also being announced earlier than scheduled.
The total pass percentage for the country stood at 83.4 per cent. The region with the highest pass percentage is Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala with 98.2 per cent, followed by Chennai, Tamil Nadu with 92.93 per cent and Delhi with 91.87 per cent. The percentage of students who passed in international schools is 95.43 per cent.
Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora top CBSE Class 12 exam, both score 499 out of 500 marks.
Rishikesh's Gaurangi Chawala, Raebareli's Aishwarya and Bhavya from Jind have bagged the second rank, scoring 498 out of 500 in Class 12 CBSE exams.
