A 69-year-old Italian tourist who had contacted coronavirus and then eventually recovered, has now died due to a cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Jaipur, Press Trust of India has reported.

As per reports, the tourist suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Thursday night (19 March). After Covid-19 recovery he had requested that he be shifted to a private hospital for treatment. He had a history of heart and lung diseases.
The SMS Medical College which oversaw his Covid-19 treatment has said that the tourist was fit when he had requested a transfer to the Fortis Hospital. He was shifted yesterday morning (19 March).
