President Donald Trump's former campaign adviser, Shalabh Shalli Kumar on Saturday opined that Trump's decision to share the stage with Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi during the 'Howdy Modi!' event in Houston is a 'big slap' on the face of Pakistan's PM Imran Khan, reports Asian News International (ANI).
An Indo-American industrialist based in the United States, Kumar hailed the development as the biggest endorsement of India by the US administration.
He also went on to the President's Trump previous offer to mediate between India and Pakistan as just an 'off the cuff' remark.
Kumar also underscored that prior to his election as the President, Trump had said that if elected, India will find a best friend in the White House. He emphasised that the position of the US administration and President Trump has been consistent.
President will be partaking in the 'Howdy Modi!' event tonight, sharing the stage with Pm Modi, who will be addressing a gathering of an unprecedented 50,000 plus Indo-Americans in Houston's NRG stadium. The event will also be attended by a host of republicans and democrats.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
