Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (22 September IST), met a delegation of Kashmiri Pandits in Houston ahead of his mega ‘Howdy Modi’ event.
The meeting soon turned into an emotional affair with the Kashmiri Pandits thanking Prime Minister Modi on behalf of their community for the abrogation of Article 370.

In the video, after posing for a photograph, Prime Minister Modi asked about their well-being and the meeting soon turned emotional when the Pandits thanked him on the behalf of their community for his work (Abrogation of Article 370).
Prime Minister Modi in response acknowledged the community’s suffering, and was thanked by the delegation for it, which included a Pandit kissing his hand in gratitude.
Prime Minister Modi and the delegation later also joined in reciting Namaste Sharade Devi shloka.

Prime Minister Modi also met with a delegation of Dawoodi Bohra community which felicitated him in a ceremony.
