Patna Metro Begins Survey For Alternate Routes

The Patna traffic police conducted a study of the alternate routes along corridor II, which will be available for traffic flow during the civil works, while the preliminary work on the Patna Metro Rail project proceeds.
Vehicle traffic will be detoured at Gandhi Maidan, Frazer Road, and Ashok Rajpath, according to traffic police officials, reports Times of India.
The alternative routes have been enhanced and will be maintained and kept open until this large-scale project is finished, making commuters more comfortable.
The Frazer Road's western side will be blocked off, but its eastern side won't change.
In order to enlarge the second flank, which will be used for two-way traffic, Kumar, the SP traffic police stated one side would be closed near PMCH to Patna University.
Before it is put into effect, a trial run will be undertaken. In his opinion, the detour is essential to prevent a traffic jam for residents because of construction activities.
