Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed public meetings in Nanded and Parbhani, Maharashtra, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

He mentioned the electorate's rejection of opposition parties in the initial phase of polling, asserting, "The people have thoroughly rejected them."

PM Modi also criticised the Congress for hindering development initiatives, lamenting, "Congress is the wall between the development of Dalits, Poor & deprived."

He underscored the government's commitment to empowering farmers and addressing regional disparities, stating, "Our constant endeavor has been to facilitate the empowerment of our farmers."

Reflecting on the historical significance of Nanded, PM Modi remarked, "The land of Nanded reflects the purity of India's Sikh Gurus."

He accused the Congress of opposing the Sikh community, asserting, "Congress has always opposed the Sikh community and is taking revenge for 1984."

In Parbhani, PM Modi cautioned against the Congress's divisive policies, urging, "One must caution against Congress for a 'Viksit Bharat' & 'Viksit Maharashtra.'"

He also reiterated the government's efforts to promote Indian culture and strengthen national symbols, stating, "Congress & its friends detest India's culture."

Taking a swipe at the Congress, PM Modi said, "Congress is such a vine which has neither any roots nor ground of its own. It dries up whoever gives it support."

He also launched a veiled attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and alleged that the party may declare another safe seat for him after polling in Kerala's Wayanad, from where he is contesting the Lok Sabha polls, end on 26 April.

"The Congress prince is also sensing trouble in Wayanad. He and his team are eagerly awaiting the voting on April 26th in Wayanad. Once the voting is complete there on that day, they will declare another safe seat for the prince," PM Modi said in an indirect jibe at Gandhi.
