A day after Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (MMK) leader MH Jawahirullah apologised for a poster put up by his party men in Batlgundu of Dindigul district that hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus due to its derogatory portrayal of Lord Rama, Lakshmana and Sita Devi, a banner put up by the same party, showing Bharat Mata in a derogatory manner has emerged on social media.
Both were put up by party members to condemn an incident in Manipur, in which two women were paraded naked after being sexually assaulted.
The banner shows depicts Bharat Mata as the victim with two men standing beside her. One of the men is wearing a saffron coloured mask.
In the previous poster, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were depicted as Lord Rama and Lakshmana. They were shown standing besides Sita Devi, depicted as a naked woman whose private parts were covered with the tricolour.
We won't say 'bharat mata ki jai' but would be the first one to use her for political propaganda.

Another derogatory poster by MMK (an I.N.D.I. Alliance).
