Pakistani Prime Minster Imran Khan was attacked by opposition party leaders on Tuesday (26 February) who chanted slogans against him in the Pakistan National Assembly, Business Today has reported.

The opposition members were heard shouting “Shame Shame” in what is said to be a reaction to Indian Air Force (IAF) action against Jaish-e-Mohammed’s biggest terror camp. The opposition members also called for “strong retaliatory action”.

Around the same time, former Pakistan defence minister Khawaja Asif urged all parties to stay united and show solidarity with their army.

India has confirmed that it conducted air strikes deep inside Pakistan territory to completely destroy Jaish-e-Mohammed’s biggest terror camp.

Reports have claimed that a team of 12 Mirage 2000 jets dropped six bombs on the terror camp. This action has been hailed by many including former army chief General Bikram Singh who called it Surgical Strike 2.
